Torrevieja is a thriving town, with a lovely promenade and excellent
MARINA. It offers a superb range of shops and restaurants and there
are numerous sandy beaches, some close to the town and some in quieter
locations. The salt lakes provide a haven for much wild life, including
flamingos.
Alicante airport is just half an hour away, offering
the widest range of flights from all UK destinations throughout
the year. The expanding
MURCIA airport at San Javier is also just half an hour’s drive,
offering many flights from low cost airlines.
